The Link Between Oral Health & Kidney Disease
Did you know that good oral hygiene is an important part of kidney transplants? Healthy teeth can make the process easier and ensure that your organ stays healthy. In fact, flossing, brushing, and regular dental checkups are all habits recommended by medical professionals for transplant recipients. Of course, you should not make a dentist appointment until at least 6 months after receiving a transplant.
