Dr. Christopher Norman – Cosmetic & General Dentist
Dr. Norman is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Bachelors in Biology. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Dr. Norman furthered his education by attending the New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
After dental school he completed 5 years of active duty service in the U.S. Army with assignments at Ft. Benning, GA and Fort Carson, CO. Dr. Norman was deployed to Afghanistan in 2014 where he received the Bronze Star Medal for his exceptionally meritorious service in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XIV.
As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Society, Dr. Norman stays up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in comprehensive dental care. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, and the all-around amazing experiences, landscape and people that Colorado has to offer.
Dr. Jennifer Friedman – Orthodontist
Dr. Jennifer A. Friedman is a licensed orthodontist with expertise in sleep apnea. She received her D.M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and later received her Certificate of Orthodontics from University of Rochester Eastman Institute of Oral Health. Dr. Friedman has completed research and often presents on sleep apnea treatments. She received the New Dentist Award for Outstanding Service from the Louisville Dental Society.
Dr. Friedman moved to Colorado in 2014 and she loves the outdoors. She partakes in activities that keep her feeling healthy, like kayaking, cross-country skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.
Dr. Ahmed B. Salman– Endodontist
Dr. Salman was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. His initial dental training was at the University of Baghdad where he received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S). Afterwards, He completed a one-year general practice residency at Cairo University Hospital in Egypt.
After a couple of years practicing as a general dentist, he decided to continue his educational journey in the United States where he obtained a second dental degree (D.D.S) from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During his time at the dental school, he was recognized for his passion and received an award for Excellence in Endodontics.
After practicing in the Denver metro area as a general dentist his passion towards Endodontics lead him to pursue a postgraduate training at the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He received a certificate of specialty in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D). During his residency, Dr. Salman received the postgraduate OKU clinical excellence day award for his 1st place clinical presentation.
Dr. Salman is Board Eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Colorado Dental Association and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.
During his free time, Dr. Salman plays soccer on weekly basis and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Dr. William McMunn – Oral Surgeon
Dr. McMunn was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. Upon graduation from high school, he attended the University of Texas where he received his Bachelors Degree in Biology. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Sciences in 1985. Afterward he pursued post graduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He also received his medical degree from Columbia University College in 1992.
In 2000 he moved to Colorado and entered private practice. In his spare time he enjoys racquetball, theatre, movies and skiing. His personal and professional philosophy is that each patient is at the center of their own heath care. He firmly believes that doctors should provide their patients with safe, honest and the utmost professional care that they would provide for their own family members or themselves.
Julie – Office Manager
Julie has been working in the dental field since 2006 as a dental assistant and office manager.
Her favorite part of the job is building a relationship with the patients. Julie and her husband love to travel, see plays around Denver, and go to as many haunted houses as possible at Halloween.
Laura – Dental Hygienist
Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, and has been in practice for over 12 years. She has had the privilege to work in a variety of clinical settings ranging from pediatric to periodontal practices, as well as train and educate new hygienists in the corporate setting. She recently accepted a position on the Community College of Denver advisory board for their Hygiene Program. Laura is earning her Masters of Science degree in Health Service Administration at Regis University and enjoys all aspects of her career, especially the opportunity to help others. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, reading and hiking, biking and snowshoeing.
Eliciana – Dental Assistant
Eliciana graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and went on to dental assisting school at Concorde Career College in Aurora. In her free time, she likes to hike, travel and read.
Eliciana’s favorite part of her career is meeting and interacting with new patients.
Angelina – Dental Hygienist
Angelina went to school at Front Range Community College for dental assisting. After she finished their DA program, she decided to further her education and pursue a career in dental hygiene. Her favorite part of dental hygiene is helping others and making them feel good about their smile. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her dog, Chicken.
Dulce – Dental Assistant
Dulce is a recent graduate from the CDAS (Colorado Dental Assisting School). Her favorite aspect of assisting is being able to help others. In her off time she enjoys playing volleyball, camping and fishing.
